Akshay Kumar Mourns the Death of Neeraj Vora


An Actor, director, and writer Neeraj Vora, the multi-faceted personality who always managed to make us laugh out loud with his witty humor, is no more with us as he passed away today at 4 am in a suburban hospital.
Akshay Kumar, who has worked with Neeraj Vora in numerous films, expressed his grief on social media. He wrote, “One of the main reasons behind my foray into comedy, saddened to hear about the demise of #NeerajVora a multi-talented man, writer, director, actor…a  mini industry  by himself,  learnt  so much from him. RIP”
Veteran Actor Paresh Rawal also took  to  his Twitter to share the news and tweeted, “Neeraj Vora – The writer n director of Phir Hera Pheri n many hit films is no more  …Aum Shanti.”
Neeraj has worked in movies like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Rangeela, Daud: Fun on the Run, Satya, Mann, Baadshah, Bol Bachchan with his last acting credit being Welcome Back in 2015.
He is also credited as the writer for some classic movies like Hera Pheri and Rangeela. He started his journey as a director in 2000 with Khiladi 420. He then went on to direct Phir Hera Pheri.

Neeraj suffered a massive heart attack and a brain stroke in October, last year. He was rushed to AIIMS and unfortunately was in a state of coma which lasted for a year.
