Ajay Devgn Announces his Marathi Debut Film

Superstar Ajay Devgn completes 25 years in the film industry and announced the title of his maiden Marathi production venture as Aapla Manus. The “Baadshaho” actor said he fell in love with the Marathi language after marrying actress Kajol.
Ajay Devgn released a video on his Twitter account, announcing his Marathi movie He captioned it, “Happy to announce my 1st ever Marathi film venture – Aapla Manus, releasing on 9th Feb. @nanagpatekar @sache09 @sumrag @irawatiharshe @aplamanusfilm”
In the video, Ajay is seen sharing a message. He said, “I have completed 25 years in the film industry. Every time I have done a new film and a new character, but the relationship with you all is still the same. Similarly, I have a relation with Maharashtra since my birth. I have always had respect for the Marathi language”
“But after marrying Kajol, I got in love with the language. Because of this culture, Marathi cinema has its own following. To join this industry, I am coming up with my first Marathi film Aapla Manus” adds Ajay.
Directed by Satish Rajwade, Aapla Manus will feature Nana Patekar, Sumeet Raghavan and Irawati Harshe. The movie is slated for 9th February 2018 release.
Last Ajay was seen in Golmaal Again, which became the highest grossing film of 2017 collecting 100 crores in 4 days of its release while making a hefty 300 crores at the worldwide box office.
Devgn is also prepping for Raj Kumar Gupta’s Raid (2018 film) with actress Ileana D’Cruz. There are also reports that Devgn has been working on producing ‘Sons of Sardaar: The Battle of Saragari,’ a sequel to Son of Sardaar.
