When asked about the celebration and her work, the actress expressed her feeling about the decade of working in the industry, “It has been an incredible journey, in fact, I was with Farah (Khan) the day we celebrated 10 years. It was absolutely ironic that we were together because it was last minute plan and things just kind of fell into place. I also feel like it’s a sign, I am spending a lot of time with her after a very long time. And it was great catching up with her. As for my career, it doesn’t feel like I have been here ten years. I feel like this is just the beginning an there is so much more to give and to do.”
With the biggest film of the year Padmavati’ release coming closer the actress said that she too is counting the days to the film’s releases, “The love that we are getting for the posters, the trailer, and the songs is very overwhelming and we are as excited as the audience is for the film. We can’t wait to share this film with everyone. We are literally counting the days to the release.”
The film, Padmavati is based on a book ‘Padmavat’. The film is a fictionalized account of the life of Rani Padmini, a legendary Hindu Rajput queen. The cast includes Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh.
