Sridevi thought I looked very cute in Hawa Hawai: Vidhya Balan


Vidya Balan with Neha Dhupia and Malishka was present at the launch of PVR- P(XL) on Friday. During media interaction, Balan said,  Sridevi thought I looked very cute in the song Hawa Hawai.
Tumhari sulu has recreated the song Hawa Hawai as a tribute to the evergreen actress Sridevi, Vidya was asked what response she received from the original Hawa Hawai girl.”Sridevi thought I looked very cute in the song and she loved the way we recreated the song. I don’t want to say anything on her behalf it would be better if you would ask her.”
The actress also said that The new song released on Friday titled ‘Manva’ is her favorite song, “ ‘Hawa Hawai’ has got a fantastic response, and so has the previous release ‘Ban Ja Tu Meri Rani’. Today we released one more song which is called ‘Manva’..”  Vidya even hummed a few words from the song for the crowd,
“I love that song because all of us want to spread our wings and fly.  So far the response is fabulous and I am so excited for the film to release.”
In light of all sexual harassment victims speaking out when asked Vidya about her opinion, she said, “I think people who go through it know how it feels when you are in an uncomfortable situation and someone touches you. There are many degrees of sexual harassment. I am very glad that women are speaking up and they should talk about it because it isn’t their fault. We should name and shame those who are sexually harassing others undoubtedly.”
Tumhari Sulu is a comical slice-of-life film directed by adman Suresh Triveni for youth and families. Vidya Balan essays the role of a beautiful, enthusiastic and happy-go-lucky Mumbai housewife whose routine life changes when she unexpectedly lands herself with the exciting job of a night RJ (radio jockey) on a leading radio station.
Presented by T series the film is scheduled to release on 17th November 2017.
