Tamannaah Bhatia is gearing up for her upcoming Telugu remake of Hindi blockbuster ‘Queen’. During an interview with News Helpline said, the south remakes of ‘Queen’ is a tribute to the original.
Tamannaah is excited to be part of Queen due to her love for the original, she said she felt inspired by the film as an audience. When asked if being compared with original will bother her, she said, “Comparisons are inevitable, I have done many remakes down south and we are doing it in 4 different languages with 4 different actors. I will say this on behalf of other actresses who are also part of the film, we all loved the original so much that this more like a tribute to it. So even if there is a comparison, it’s ok. To us, the film is about what we feel from our heart and what we want to give to a film.”
The actress revealed that she worked on 6 different films this year which is also the highest number of films she has done in a year. “This year I am doing my best to be only part of the films that inspire me that I believe in and enjoy. I love to do films that make a difference and make you feel good. I got into films because they used to make me feel very empowering as an audience, so I also want to do films that make people happy. ”
Her future projects include 2 Tamil films, one remake of ‘Pelli Choopulu’ and Sketch directed by Vikram K. Kumar. Apart from Queen, Bhatia will also star in 2 more Telugu films, one of which is with director Kunal Kohli and another with Kalyan Ram.
The actress will also be seen in a Hindi film directed by Vashu Bhagnani in which she will be playing a deaf and mute. The film also stars Prabhu Deva, but they haven’t been paired together.
