Number game does not suit me: Irrfan Khan


Irrfan Khan, who is currently seen in his romantic comedy “Qarib Qarib Singlle”, in an interview said number game does not suit him.

Irrfan has been well known for many releases in national internationally, his last film “Hindi Medium” had crossed Rs 100 crore worldwide.

When asked if he has started learning the number game, the National Award winning actor told IANS: “I do not want to get into that zone. I am not Sachin Tendulkar to score 100 in most of the matches. I, as an actor, have done my work sincerely and I think as an actor, I shouldn’t get into the business part.

“By saying this, I am not pitching anything to anybody. Every individual should follow what suits them. Number game does not suit me.” he further added.

Before the release of Tanuja Chandra’s directorial “Qarib Qarib Singlle”, which features actress Parvathy, Irrfan had said he felt a certain pressure and anxiety over the film.

“I feel anxious before any every release, but the good thing is, with time, the span (of anxiety) is becoming shorter.”

Irrfan was asked by a fan during a theater visit about the characteristics he loves of Yogi that he took special time to prepare, “There are some characteristics that I really love about Yogi, he is vulnerable sensitive and if time comes to it he will also be ready for a fight. And especially the way he treats women as an equal. He would never create an atmosphere that feeds the thoughts of gender inequality.”
