When ‘he’ would always get bigger van and better hotel. Sometimes people also used to ask me whether you want to listen to the story of the film before singing it then I used to get very angry with it”

‘Thankfully for me, I entered in films with film like ‘Parineeta’. I also remember people used to tell me that shelf life of female actor is really short so you have to look younger and you can’t be wearing sarees and you have to be glamorous so I tried that as well but then I realised that shelf life of actor is not short and thankfully when I started to say that I can’t fit into a certain mould. I am enjoying what I am doing. I am here to become an actor so I want to do roles which challenge me as an actor then I began to be in a happier person”
