Finally the Emraan Hashmi starrer “Captian Nawab” went on floors and the actor shares the picture straight from the first-day shoot on social media.
Emraan Hashmi steps into the shoes of an army officer for the very first time, for his home production Captain Nawab, directed by Tony D’Souza.
The film has gone on floors today as shared by the actor on his Twitter handle. He wrote, “And it begins!!… #CaptainNawabShootbegins.”
The film is inspired by a real event, but eventually, it is a fictional piece of work. This has been sourced out from true happenings in India, though creative liberties have been taken to make it masala film. It is very gritty, real and entertaining war drama thriller film.
The story revolves around a double spy (working for both INDIA AND PAKISTAN), who gets into trouble when both sides come to know of his betrayal.
The first look of the film was released earlier, which took the internet by storm. The actor was seen donning a uniform with a background of Indian and Pakistani flags, making his look extremely intriguing.
This is Emraan’s second outing with director Tony D’Souza. The two had earlier teamed up for Azhar, which was the biopic on the controversial life of former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin.
Emraan had a decent run at the box office this year with Baadshaho, which had him teaming up with Ajay Devgn and Milan Luthria yet again. The trio had previously worked together in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.
