The Actress said she loves being around kids and feels like going back to her school days. “As an adult, we don’t get the chance to celebrate Children’s day but this was an amazing experience to come here and spend time with all of them. I had a lot of fun.” Bhumi added.
Bhumi was asked to comment about kids using technology a lot and avoiding physical activities, she said “I am amazed every time I see my two-year-old nephew operating the I pad. I think the world is evolving so using gadgets and internet are important but I think parents need to push their children to play sports to play outside because it’s their foundation. I can’t imagine my childhood without playing with my building friends, our parents had to drag us back home and now we have to push children out of the house to play.
But thankfully there are more schools around that seen sports as important part of the curriculum and encourage them to play more. I can’t live without gadgets either but it is important to be physically fit.”
She further talked about kids and their educational rights, “I think more than kids I think parent have to take more precautions. Education is the biggest and most important tool for everyone, so not just for your own kids but if you see an underprivileged please help and support them too because education is everyone’s right and we can’t take that from them.”
