Kundan Shah Passes Away, Bollywood in Shock

Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron famed Filmmaker Kundan Shah, passed away last night at his residence in Mumbai. The director suffered a heart, he was 70-year-old. The Bollywood is in shock and expressed their grief on social media.
Judwaa 2 Actor Varun Dhawan wrote on his social media account, “Rip Kundan shah. A master filmmaker #JaaneBhiDoYaaron #KabhiHaanKabhiNaa. Thank you for inspiring us”
Choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan also expressed her grief. She wrote, “Saddened 2 hear my favourite director Kundan Shah is no more…I learnt a lot from him whilst filming kabbhihaankabhina…quiet genius he was”
Bhoomi Filmmaker Omung Kumar‏, who was privileged to work with the legend, also expressed his sadness. He wrote, “My privilege that I could work with you on a film as an art director. You will always be missed. RIP…. genius Kundan Shah””
Dum Laga Ke Haisha Actor Ayushmann Khurrana also tweeted about filmmaker’s demise. He wrote, “Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na were truly ahead the times. Thank you for the great cinema #KundanShah sir. #RIP”
Kundan Shah is also the mater creator behind famous telly series, such as Nukkad, Wagle Ki Duniya and Persai Kehte Hain.
The filmmaker won his first National Film Award – Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director for Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro.
