Actress Shruti Haasan attended Femina Stylista West competition as a judge on Friday in Mumbai. While interacting with media, Shruti asserted that she had really memorable experience working with her Papa who happens to be South Superstar Kamal Haasan.
Talking about her future projects, Shruti said, “Now my film ‘Yaara’ and ‘Shabash Kundu’ will get released and after that I will make some announcements about my upcoming films.”
“As far as ‘Yaara’ is concerned, we are waiting to its release. It still in post-production stage. I really had so much fun while shooting for that film. I really hope that people can see it soon”
“In ‘Shabash Kundu’ working with Papa (Kamal Haasan) was really fun because I learnt a lot and its really memorable experience for me”
Talking about Judging Femina Stylista West, Shruti said, “I don’t really like word ‘Judge’. I am here just to give my support and opinion little bit. I think it lovely because it’s not like a pageant that how people expect you to be and present yourself. I think it’s about personality. The contestants have their own style and personality so that’s why I am really happy to be here”
Talking about social media, Shruti said, “I feel social media is very good medium because here I can connect with people. Earlier, we used to interact with people at social gatherings or events but social media has made it really small. It has the power which makes us able to stay in touch with one another n daily basis. Everyone is connected over there and I really like about it and as always getting thepositivity, love and affection my day gets made”
Kamal Haasan with his trilingual action drama ‘Shabash Kundu’ is also stepping behind the camera after its director TK Rajeev Kumar fell ill.
The character Haasan plays in “Shabash Kundu” is a spin-off of “Dashavtharam”, a film that he directed in 2008.
The movie features Haasan and his elder daughter Shruti Haasan in the lead for the first time. Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara is an assistant director in the film.
The music of the film is being composed by Ilayaraja.
The movie went on floor in the first week of June in LA and will release by the end of this year.
Shruti’s other movie ‘Yaara’ is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. It features Vidyut Jammwal opposite her.
