Shreyas Talpade has done amazing job in Poster Boys says Sonali Kulkarni


Actress Sonali Kulkarni interacted with media ahead of release of her upcoming film Poster Boys on the occasion of Ganpati festival at her home in Saturday in Mumbai. While interacting with media, she stated that Poster Boys film’s director Shreyas Talpade who is making his debut as a director with this film in bollywood has done amazing job in the film.

Talking about her film Poster Boys, she said, “This year’s Ganpati festival is very special for me because my film Poster Boys is releasing this year and after long time, I will be seen in Hindi film. Last time, I worked in Singham which collected 100 crores at the box office. In Poster Boys, I am playing wife of Sunny Deol. Bobby and Shreyas are also working in the film. Shreyas has directed this film and I must say Shreyas has done amazing job with this film. As a first time director, he briefed all actors really well to portray their characters while shooting of this film. This film is in comedy space. It is a family entertainer and audience will able see amazing chemistry between me and Bobby Deol. I really enjoyed working in this film and first time than my earlier characters I have played an out an out Punjabi character which was really exciting for me s an actor”.

Talking about story of the film, Sonali said, “In Poster Boys, there are three characters who trapped in a situation without their mistake and due to which there is lot of confusion and misunderstanding in their family and society so this film is humorous take on how they go through that journey”

Talking about celebrating Ganpati festival at her home, she said, “Each year, we celebrate 10 days of Ganpati festival at our home and each year, we try to do decoration with different ideas and themes. Last year, we made house of books for Ganeshji and this year we decorated Ganpati by using saplings around Ganpati idol”

“I feel we should all celebrate Ganpati in eco-friendly manner so we never do immersion of our Ganpati idol. I feel all these tradition of our festival are made by us but I feel we have to change our self with changing times”

Talking about childhood memories of her during Ganpati festival, she said, “I am from Pune and we used to celebrate Ganpati festival in special manner. In our society there used to have dance and drama competition so it was like cultural exchange for us at that time and most importantly I got my first audience in Ganesh festival because people around me always used to motivate me during those for my acting”

Talking about her future projects, she said, “This year I have very interesting lineup after Poster Boys. I am working in film named ‘Hope Aur Hum with Naseeruddin Shah and there is another film named ‘Dil Dimag Aur Batti’ which is directed by Rishikesg Gupte. Apart from that, I am also working in Sachin Kundalkar’s Marathi film ‘Gulabjam’ and I am also working in two plays named ‘Gardish Mein Taare’ and ‘White Lily and Night Rider’ which is produced by me”
