After cleaning the Versova Beach with Gusto, socially responsible Actor Randeep Hooda join hands with another relevant cause, Save the Tiger under Prowl, unveils a video to urge fans to lend support.
Randeep Hooda just released a video on his social media account. He captioned the video, “Most of us want to do something for #environment but don’t know how…here’s how #Tigers #PROWL @drharshvardhan @HansDalal @UNEP @WWF_tigers”
In the video, Randeep Hooda is seen saying, “I’ve been passionate about the environment and wondered how I can be of help? And I’ve had the good fortune to meet some wonderful people amongst them is Hans Dalal, who works near the Daroba forest in Maharashtra. He runs an NGO called Prowl, which means preservation of wildlife landscapes, and he works very closely with forest department and the local people out there”
“As the name suggests Prowl deals with a holistic approach towards maintaining the eco-systems and they have chosen Tiger as the main subject to work with because Tiger is an apex predator and wherever there is an apex predator, that means the forest and the eco-system are very healthy.
“I don’t know, how many of you know but a lot of our fresh water sources come out of these forests. If these forests disappear, so will our water sources, and one day, so will we” says Randeep Hooda.
Randeep Hooda also spoke about the importance of forests and our eco-system and finally urged his fans or otherwise to lend the support.
What the forest department needs is 22 digital points and shoot camera with SD card. I have kick-started this project with my contribution, I would like you to join in and contributes towards these cameras” added Randeep Hooda.
On the work front, Randeep Hooda was last seen in epic movie Sultan with Salman Khan. And now the actor is prepping and shooting for his upcoming historical drama Battle of Saragrahi.
The upcoming film is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, also starring Vikramjeet Virk. The film is based on the Battle of Saragarhi, that took place in 1897 between British Indian Army and Afghan Orakzai tribesmen, in the North-West Frontier Province (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan).
