Padmapriya Janakiraman – Working with Saif Ali has been Star Struck Experience


Padmapriya Janakiraman is all geared up with her mega Bollywood debut in opposite Saif Ali Khan, says working with him as been a “Star Stuck” experience for her.
Padmapriya has worked in more than 30 films in her multi-lingual career including Hindi movie Striker in 2010, now the actress is back to Hindi cinema, playing Saif Ali Khan’s wife in director Raja Krishna Menon’s film, .
Padmapriya admits that she has seen Saif’s work before and liked most of it and working with him was “Star Struck” experience.
“I have seen Saif’s films and loved a lot of them and to be working with him it was star stuck kind of experience for me” said Padmapriya during her media interaction at the trailer Launch.
is an official remake of Jon Favreu directorial of the same name. Actress Padmapriya also quips that she was the original but the adapted version has Universal appeal.
“It has been a unique experience in the sense that I saw the film in English; it had its own impact. I had not looked at it as father-son relationship. I was just back from New York after completing my studies so I only saw bread and toast from their”
“But the minute Raja Menon narrated me the script. The adapted script, it is a set of universal emotion, which makes the film what it is. It has been a beautiful experience to be part of it” added Padma.
Directed by Raja Krishna Menon and produced By Bhushan Kumar, the film also stars Svar Kamble and Chandan Roy Sanyal as the leads.
It is scheduled for a worldwide release on 6th October 2017.
