Daisy Shah who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Ramratan’ while at the trailer launch on Monday said, I would like to work in a biopic on Mumtaz.
When asked if she is currently working on something else and if she has anything in her mind that she wants to she said, “I am working on the biggest project there can be, I am working on myself. I am doing a lot of things, in fact, I am learning kickboxing. I think my inspiration for Kick boxing is actually Tiger Shroff because I wanted to kick as high as he does. And strangely I haven’t had the chance to read a lot so I have been reading a lot of books lately.
In terms of work, I would like to work on a biopic and some people that I have met have mentioned that my life is in some way in similar to Mumtaz-ji. She was also a dancer and then became an actress so in that way I relate with her. So I think if I get the chance I would like to work in a biopic on Mumtaz.”
When asked about Salman Khan and if she takes his suggestion while deciding on which films to choose, Daisy said “There are so many cameras here and everyone is prove, now don’t ask me why I keep mentioning Salman every time. I am asked so I answer questions.” She further answers the question, “Of course I take his suggestion since I am his prodigy it’s my solemn duty to do that. He also said he has heard a lot about our director and I think that’s why he gave me the thumbs up to do this film, under a very experienced director.”
The actress was also asked if she thinks Salman Khan should have a biopic to which she said, “Biopic is made on people who are at the senior level in the industry and I don’t think he is at that level or is going to be a senior anytime soon. We all still think of him as a 27 years old. His life has been very interesting. He has so many fans and they all want to know what is happening in his life. As a fan, I think there should be a biopic on Salman’s life.”
Daisy was last seen in 2015’s ‘Hate Story 3’ directed by Vishal Pandya with Karan Singh Grover and Sharman Joshi and Zareen Khan.
‘Ramratan’ directed by Govind Sakariya and written by Praful Parekh, will be starring, Rishi Bhutani, Daisy Shah, Mahesh Thakur, and Rajpal Yadav.
The film is scheduled to release in 2017.
