Anushka Sharma named as a brand ambassador for Polaroid Eyewear on Wednesday in Mumbai. While interacting with media, Anushka stated that she don’t over-accessorize her looks.

Talking about her association with Polaroid Eyewear, Anushka said, “The association has been great. We are celebrating completion of 80 years of Polaroid and I am happy that I can be part, be associated and rejoice this milestone”

“I feel sense of responsibility when brand has stood test of time for so many years and they take you on as their first ambassador that is the responsibility that I am very proud of. I am very happy by chosen by the brand to promote their collection worldwide. As an ambassador, it’s very important for me personally to endorse a brand that I believe in and I use it personally because I don’t want to go out there and vouch for something that I don’t use myself”

Talking about her love for sunglasses, Anushka said, “It is most effective and practical way of accessorizing yourself. I don’t like over-accessorizing my looks but I feel sunglasses do it for you. It has practical appeal but at the same time, it enhances your look so you could be wearing something like casual like pair of shirt and denims but if you add good trendy sunglasses to it to it then you kind of uplift your look a little bit”

“You have to match it to what you are wearing and that’s something easy when you have good range of sunglasses so I think it’s good and important to invest in all kinds and models of sunglasses”

Talking about safety aspect of sunglasses, Anushka said, “Style is important but it has to be practical so of course it’s important to protect your eyes. It’s one of the reasons why especially in place like Mumbai when sun is constantly shining on your face. Apart from style factor, fashion etc, I think it is also something that important health wise”

Anushka Sharma was last seen in Jab Harry Met Sejal along with Shah Rukh Khan and now her upcoming films include Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, ‘Pari’ alongside Parambrata Chatterjee, Anand Rai’s untitled film with Shah Rukh khan and ‘Sui Dhaaga’ along with varun Dhawan which is produced by Yash Raj Films.
