I am expecting Lucknow Central to be a Game changer says Anand L Rai


Anand L Rai who is busy working on his next with Shah Rukh Khan was present at the Special screening of Lucknow Central. During media interaction he director said, he is expecting Lucknow Central to be a Game changer.

Director Anand L Rai who was looking forward to Diana’s performance said, “I am expecting a good film. With Farhan as a part of the film expectations are high. I am looking forward to Diana’s performance. The film has a very promising trailer and it’s exciting. As a director, I think it’s a very new concept and it comes from a different world. Since the star cast is amazing I expect something challenging and something that’s a game changer. So yes, I am expecting Lucknow Central to be a Game changer.”

With four days left for the release of Lucknow Central, the filmmakers held a special screening. Celebrities like Dia Mirza, Anand L Rai, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sachin Tendulkar with wife and Daughter, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, Nitesh Tiwari, Richa Chadda, Kirit Sanon and Tapsee Pannu were present at the event.

Dia Miraz while speaking to media said, “It’s a very novel concept and this cast is something that instantly connects you to the film. Just looking at them gives the feel to the film. Farhan’s transformation is amazing, I am a big fan of Diana I think she is one the sweetest people, I love her work. The film comes across as a very earthy and relatable film I am very excited to go in and watch the film.”

Bhoomi’s leading star, Aditi Rao Hyadari was impressed by the trailer said, “It looks like a very new concept, and there are a lot of amazing actors in it. It looks like one of those films where an under-dog wins at the end of the day. The audience is always rooting for the under-dog and if someone’s dream actually comes true it become s a very happy movie. We all love to watch happy endings and the film’s music is really nice as well.”

Kriti Sanon who was earlier cast for Diana Penty’s character was also present at the screening, she said, “The story is great, the trailer looked great and I especially looking forward to watching the film because I think it’s a very unique concept and I know the story somewhat and I think he film has been made very nicely. It’s going to be packed with great performances. I couldn’t be part of the film because there were dates issues with ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ and Lucknow Central.”

Farhan Akhtar who was also present at the screening said, they are going to travel to Delhi for the next few days to promote the film and he is looking forward to the release on 15th September.
