Makers of Shubh Mangal Saavdhan hosted special screening of their film on Thursday in Mumbai. Bollywood celebrities are calling Shubh Mangal Savdhan is one of best films of 2017. Celebrities like Richa Chadda, Vidya Balan, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, Prerna Arora, Krishika Lulla, Tahira Kashyap, Evelyn Sharma, Rhea Chakraborty, Pallavi Sharda, Neeti Mohan, Diana Penty, Mukesh Chhabra, Jackky Bhagnani ,Smita Thackeray, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Ramesh Taurani and Upen patel attended screening of the film.

Richa Chadda – I am really excited for the film. The film is made on really nice and unique topic. I am fan of Ayushmann and Bhumi’s work. I really liked the concept of the film and with our cinema is changing, people are openly talking about these sensitive issues in public.

Ayushmann Khurrana – We are really excited because we are getting really good reactions for the film. When people are laughing and clapping then it’s a nice feeling to have. We are hoping for the best. I hope Shubh Mangal Saavdhan do well like Bareilly Ki Barfi and Toilet – Ek Prem Katha.

Bhumi Pednekar – I am really nervous. I can’t stop smiling. I am feeling like jumping all the time. Reactions for our film were fantastic. Film also released in Dubai and from there also reactions are nice. I am just praying here also the audiences love it that much. It feels nice when people appreciate your work and producers also make some money.

Rhea Chakraborty – I really loved the film. I think everyone must watch it. It’s handling a really important issue in damn funny manner. People will really enjoy the film. Bhumi, Ayushamann, Anand sir has done amazing job with this film.

Vidya Balan – It’s an absolutely fabulous film. I went mad by laughing while watching the film. Bhumi, Ayushmann and other cast of the film has done fantastic job and Prasanna as first time director is fabulous. Everyone should watch this film. I congratulate and wish all the success of to the makers of this film.

Jackky Bhagnani – This is the best movie of 2017 I have seen hands down. It’s an outstanding film. The performances, message, writing, direction is very good. It’s a superb film. It’s very rare that a film deliver message in such entertaining manner.

R. Madhavan – This film is a hit. I really enjoyed it. I think Anand Rai, Colour Yellow and Eros is very lucky combination. They have made really good films. It’s a remake of Tamil film but I feel it’s really good than the original. Bhumi, Ayushmann and other cast of the film has done phenomenal job. While watching the film, I got memory of Tanu Weds Manu. It’s a brilliant film and each person will take different kind of message with this film which has been presented in entertaining manner.

Sanya Malhotra – It’s a cute film. This film has made with lot of love. I am from Delhi so it is quite relatable for me when it comes to marriage and all the drama surrounding it. It’s really entertaining and funny. Performances of the film are so good. Everyone should watch this movie. It’s quite relatable and people of Delhi should definitely watch this film. The message is really good of the movie and I am glad that industry is making such kind of movies from which people are getting socially aware.

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari – I really like this film. It’s a story which is need of the hour. The film has touched very sensitive topic but there is not a single dull moment in the film. Writing and direction of the film is really fantastic and actors also done their job really well. I feel one of the other best thing about the movie is that we always talk about women’s problem but with this film we are talking about men’s problem and to tell it so beautifully is something commendable.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Kalyana Samayal Saadham’ made in 2013. The story revolves around Mudit Sharma (Ayushmann Khurrana) and Sugandha (Bhumi Pednekar) who fall in love and plan to get married. But the twist in the tale comes when the groom discovers that he suffers from erectile dysfunction.

It is directed by R. S. Prasanna and Produced by Anand L. Rai.

It is releasing on 1 September, 2017.
