Irrfan Khan Starrer “The Song Of Scorpions” Premiere in Locarno

Actor Irrfan Khan and stunning actress Golshifteh Farahani are in Locarno for their film “The Song of Scorpions”, which is getting rave reviews at the biggest Swiss film Festival.
Irrfan Khan shared the pictures on social media straight from the Locarno film festivals. He captioned the image, “Ready to roll with @Golshifteh #fromlastnight #thesongofscorpions @FilmFestLocarno”
“The Song of Scorpions” a classic melodrama directed by Anup Singh, chronicles the ups and downs of Nooran (Golshifteh) and Aadam (Irrfan) life.
The story of film is based around a transgressive relationship between Khan and Farahani, who plays a local woman. Since the film is set in a provincial town in Rajasthan, the story will explore their bond and its repercussions in the social milieu.
Waheeda Rehman will also be seen in a pivotal role. The Anup Singh directorial is set in Jaislalmer and will see Khan play the role of a local camel trader.
The film premiered at Locarno International Film Festival. Singh had earlier directed Khan in the 2013 Indian-German drama Qissa, as well.
India release date will be announced shortly.
