Anupum Kher who was present at the trailer of his upcoming production Ranchi Dairies on Monday said, he has introduced so many directors.
“If I was a regular producer I would have made many films, but I am not a producer by profession. We just started producing; we have a show on Republic. I like to believe all dreams come true. I have introduced so many new directors.
Neeraj Pandey’s first film Wednesday was with me, Dibakar Banerjee’s first film Khosla ka Ghosla, Aditya Chopra’s first film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Karan Johar’s first film Kuch Kuch Hota hai with me. Even Imtiaz Ail’s first job was given by me. What I am trying to say it is important to help people to make their dreams come true. If my journey helps them then why not.”
Anupam Kher who has been present in the industry for 32 years, was asked what would he advise the new comers he said, “Be original and be yourself. There is no alternative to hard work and honesty. Don’t try to be someone else and don’t follow anyone else’s rules. There are no rules, people think if you want to be part of the industry you have to do certain things, but I broke all the rules.”
I never looked like an actor, I was thin and a bald guy, now everyone one wants to be bald to look good, but back then it was different. They have to be themselves and follow the path of truth. It might sound cliché but that’s the only way I have dealt with my life.” He further added.
Anupum was asked about his production experience with Ranchi Dairies he said, “I was very happy, time just flew by didn’t even realize how the movie got produced. We had such great presenters and other producers, Rashmin Majithia and Coconut motion pictures. We had a very efficient team and have very good people. In today’s time people are very professional and if they have any complaints they will tell after the film releases.”
‘Ranchi Diaries’ stars Anupam Kher, Jimmy Shergill, Soundarya Sharma, Himansh Kohli, and Taaha. The film is about young aspiring actress/model and her Godfather who can do whatever it takes to make it big in life.
The film has been produced by Anupam Kher, Rashmin Majithia, and Coconut motion pictures. The film has been directed by Sattwik Mohanty.
