Here is what they had to say about the movie.

Gurinder Chadha – While making a movie, we take lot of care to make a good film but now at the release point of the movie, it’s all in god’s hands. We have made this film with lot of love and efforts so I hope people will like this film just the way it has been appreciated in other countries like UK, France, Germany and Australia. I am glad that critics are giving great reviews for the film. If feel if you have interest in the history then this film will give the audience different perspective about history of India.

Guirnder also talked about her film clashing with Bareilly Ki Barfi, she said, “I feel it’s a good thing that audiences have lot of choice so it’s okay for filmmakers as we can share the audience in terms of our film’s box-office collection.

Kartik Aryan – I am expecting alot from this film as trailer of the film was so interesting. I feel performances in this film are going to be exceptional so I am looking forward to this movie.

I am happy with whatever is happening and I feel we will see some kind of freedom in censorship.

Huma Qureshi – With Each of my film there is certain kind of nervousness but this film is very important and special to me. Around 70 years ago, we got independence and during that period, partition also took place so it was high time we should have been making film on this incident. I am very lucky to be part of this prestigious project and I also got opportunity to work with Gurinder who is known for work internationally. Till now, most of the people are liking the film and we have been getting positive reviews for the film.

Huma also talked about Cine workers ongoing strike, she said, “They matter to us, Actors are only seen onscreen but technicians are the real hero of the film. If they are not there then we will not look as good as we appear. Duty of spot boy and light boy is so important. They are the unsung heroes of our films as no one talks about them but I feel without them we cannot imagine films and film industry, I feel concerned authorities should take of their issue and I am sure there all grievances will be addressed. Nobody likes to go on strike and with that industry gets into losses.

Richa Chadda – This film is not going to have happy ending because partition was very tragic incident. But I am looking forward to this film

Talking about Fukrey 2, she said, “I am very sure that our film will be liked by the audience.”

She also spoke about Prasson Joshi’s appoint as new CBFC chief, she said, “ I want to congratulate Vidya Balan and Prasoon Joshi for their new innings at CBFC. I think they will do good job”.

Richa also talked about Cine workers ongoing strike, she said, “Filmmaking, theatre and theatre is team effort. I feel there issues should be considered by concerned authorities and they will come up with the solution.”

Saqib Saleem – I have seen the film and I am very happy the way Huma has performed in the film and I am very happy for her Hollywood debut. Partition is very emotional part of our history. We got the freedom at the cost of partition and this film is very different perspective on partition.

VIP 2 and Bareilly Ki Barfi is also releasing on same date with this film so I think it’s very good thing for the audience as they have choice to see different kind of movies and I feel all films should work because that’s how we will grow as an industry.

He also talked about Prasoon Joshi’s appointment as new CBFC chief, he said, “Now there is ray of hope so I think he should take the responsibility and we will see how things turn after that”.
