Taking the promotion to whole new level, National award winning Actor Akshay Kumar takes on “24 hours 24 Toilets” building challenge.
Akshay Kumar takes a step closer to his Swacch Bharat Abhiyan in accordance with the concept of his film, Toilet Ek Prem Katha. The actor gets on the ground level to make sure that he contributes to the change in the society not just by the film but also with his deeds, takes on “24 Toilets in 24 Hours” challenge.
Akshay Kumar took to his social media account and announced that his team will be building “24 Toilets in 24 Hours” around the country.
In the video, Akshay Kumar is seen saying, “Taking a step further towards Swacch Azadi, an organization called Kaya constructs in association with my film Toilet Ek Prem Katha has built across the country. Over the next 24 hours, my Instagram story will unveil one toilet every hour. So guys keep on watching, 24 Hours 24 Toilets”
Since yesterday toilets in places like Jaipur, Kota, Delhi, Rewari, Karnal, Mohali, Panipat and Gurugram has been inaugurated.
“Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” is directed by Shree Narayan Singh. The film will star Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles, with Anupam Kher and Sana Khan in supporting roles.
The film shares some similarities with a true event in which 19-year old Priyanka Bharti fled her husband’s home in 2012, when there was no toilet. The movie opens in theaters on 11th August 2017.
