Priyanka Chopra was asked about how it felt to be the first Indian Actor to be featured at a Times Square Billboard, the actress said, ““It’s not easy to work in another country, to start all new without being entitled for anything. Where ever I go I don’t carry the idea that I am entitled for something. I am an artist and when I go to a different country I don’t mind introducing myself as, I am Priyanka Chopra and I am an Indian Actor.
There have been challenges, but as an actor and as a woman I prefer talking about my achievements, and the results are in front of you. Hopefully as an artist I will carry everything that I have learned from India and will learn in future, internationally and achieve more. That does not mean India or America, not just one country. I am greedy (laughs) I want the entire world.”
Priyanka was also asked about not producing any music after her last single ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’ in 2014, she said, “It is deliberate. When you do music, you have to have time and ability to promote it. I am doing so much work in terms of acting and producing so I am not getting sufficient time to produce music. I always want to complete things. Last time I sang in Ventilator but as of now, there are no plans to produce music.”
Priyanka Chopra has been trending on social media and performing even better than her co stars, when asked about that, she said, “It was quite exciting. I feel that is because of fans and my well wishers. It has nothing to do with me. I just express myself on social media but the kind of interaction I do with my fans that is completely accredited to them. My co-actor also gave me congratulation for that and I felt very shy about it”.
Priyanka missed Iifa as the he actress is currently in India for her birthday and to spend time with her family. She will begin shoots for season 3 Quantico soon and will be next seen in her 3rd Hollywood Film ‘Isn’t It Romantic’. Priyanka has signed Gustakhiyan, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. In the film, Priyanka will play writer-poetess Amrita Pritam.
