"I would have tried to become a sports star instead of a movie star.” says, Tapsee Pannu

On Thursday, Tapsee Pannu was seen at the 6th Edition of the sports person of the Year 2017 as a presenter and to show her support as a sports admirer. She admitted that she would have tried to become a sports star instead of a movie star if she had the chance.

When asked by the reporter about how much she takes interest in sports Tapsee said, “If I had the chance, or if I had a special sports skill for sure I would have tried to become a sports star instead of a movie star. I really enjoy watching all types of sports, I can watch sports for an entire day, from archery to tennis I can watch all kinds of sports. I am a sports lover in general.”

She also agreed to playing squash herself and showed interest in tennis, badminton and common wealth games instead of just cricket and football.

“I really admire sportsmen because I feel the way they play under pressure without any retakes and representing their countries, it’s admirable. I think they are big heroes for me, all of them. Since I follow sports so much, I really wanted to be here today.” added the actress.

When asked about Judwaa 2’s shooting progress, Tapsee Pannu danced her way through her answer, “It’s going really well. We have reached towards the end. 2 songs and few scenes along with Salman Bhai are the only ones pending, almost there 29th September. We have finished with Unchi Hai Building and Tan Tana Tan songs; it was so much fun I didn’t want the songs to end while shooting. I have been growing up listening to these songs and I didn’t want them to end. I feel like I can dance to these songs for days.”

Tapsee Pannu , lead actress in Judwaa 2 expressed her excitement for working with Salman Khan, she also added, “ I will share screen space with him for the first time, and I will also be meeting him for the first time. I am so excited for the opportunity.”
The actress presented an award to Pullela Gopichand at the 6th edition of the Sports Person of the Year 2017 by Sports Illustrated.
