Navy Officier Rustom Pavri was an Indian Naval Officer who was living with his wife Cythia (Ileana D’Cruze) with their two children. As he was a Navy officer to he use to travel and be away from his family for long period of time. In between this duration his wife Cynthia started an affair with his friend Vikram Makhija (Role played by Arjan Bajwa) and she wanted to divorce Rustom Pavri and want to marry with Vikram. One day Rustom see his wife in the bedroom with Vikaram Makhija and he killed Vikram on the spot. However one worker has seen this and inform the same to Media and then whole story seen to get this case resolve for more you have to watch this in Cinema hall.

Akshay Kumar who did film Like Special 26, Baby, Holiday impressed again to his fans and audience. He delivered the best for this role and he is the main highlight of the film. Ileana D’cruze who started her carrier from the superhit film Burfi also did justice to her role.

Review By Critics : –

Rajeev Masand (CNNNews 18)-

“Alas, all of that drama is reduced to a farce in Rustom, which frankly is about as enjoyable as a toothache. In the end, Pavan Malhotra is typically dependable in the role of the investigating police officer, and Akshay Kumar shows some flair. They are the sole bright spots in Rustom, which is too long, wholly disappointing, and feels like an opportunity lost. I’m going with a generous two out of five.”

Renuka Vyvahare (Times of India )

“To cut to the chase, despite its multiple flaws, Rustom can be watched for Akshay Kumar, whose action/comic brilliance often overshadows his acting prowess. He reminds you to value the honest officers who serve our country with dignity and valour. He makes you want to support the man who probably did the right thing the wrong way.”

Surabhi (Koimoi) –

“Rustom claims itself to be a work of fiction and hence glamorizes Rustom’s character overtly. His character seems too angelic. Watch or Not?: Yes! Rustom is recommendable for a weekend watch. It’s best if you watch this murder mystery thriller without its references to the Nanavati case. Rustom is a one-time watch. For those who just want to catch a flick without its relation to Nanavati case, it makes up for a decent watch. I plead guilty that I suggest this film!”

KRK (KRKBoxOffice) –

“If you can bear the court drama and investigation for next 2 hours then this film is for you. Screenplay is slow and simple, Dialogue are ok and somewhere very good, acting wise all actors are good and director is average.”

Taran Adarsh –

Taran Adarsh’s Rustom Review states that the film has twist and turns but in the start of the film itself the crime is committed. The premise is fairly simple. After Baby film, Holiday and then Airlift and now Rustom is a step for Akshay for his brand of patriotism. Rustom goes with 3.5/5 for me.
