The team of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Kabali’ is gearing up for its release. The film will hit the theatre screens on July 22. People are eager to see the superstar back on the big screen after a long gap.
During a recent interaction with an online entertainment portal, film’s director Pa. Ranjith revealed Rajinikanth’s reaction after watching the gangster drama.
He said, “Much to my relief, Rajini sir was teary eyed after he finished watching it nonstop except for a ten minute break. He told me that it is not at all a Rajini film, but a very very good film”.
The Madras director also shared that the film’s producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu and Soundarya R. Ashwin also liked the film very much. However, they suggested a change to the climax but Rajinikanth himself called the director and asked him to retain the original climax.
Pa. Ranjith’s first two films have got a stupendous response from the audience, hopefully this time he will deliver another masterpiece with the Superstar.
