R Balki’s recent release Ki and Ka might have received mixed reviews from the critics but the drama has won the hearts of the audience. Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor-starrer, which minted Rs 7.30 crore on its opening day, 8.41 Cr on Saturday and 9.52 Cr. on Sunday. Total 25.23 Cr weekend collection has been able to pull the crowd to the theatre in the consecutive days as well.
The film, which focuses on gender equality, earned Rs. 7.30 crore on its first day from the domestic box office. The opening day box office collection of “Ki and Ka” is the third highest, after Akshay Kumar’s “Airlift” (Rs. 12.35 crore) and adult comedy “Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3” (Rs. 8.15 crore).
