The good looking ‘John Abraham’ along with director Nishikant Kamat visited Delhi for their film’s promotions.
Bollywood’s posterboy for health and fitness, John Abraham is back with some action packed sequences and chiseled body. Flaunting his abs and flexing his arms in his upcoming action thriller ‘Rocky Handsome’, John has already raised the level of excitement among the audiences.
John Abraham apart from delivering some dead punches and beating the 10 and more goons altogether singlehandedly has also crooned ‘Alfazon Ki Tarah’ in the film. When asked about his character in the film , He said “Rocky Handsome is not a mushy gushy romantic film. My character is pretty complex and layered because he has suffered so much in his life.”
talking about the little girl in the film, he said “I am in love with her. Usually it becomes difficult to shoot with kids but Diya is so disciplined. She used to come on time and behave very decently on sets”
The maverick director who plays a plays a bald villain had to shave off his hair each day for a period of 30 days on a regular basis, to maintain the continuity of the film shoot. When asked how does it feel to act and direct simultaneously, He said “My first love has always been Direction. Working as an actor and directing at the same time becomes so difficult and confusing. Also, it wasn’t planned that I will work as an actor in my film itself. It was when the villain who was supposed to play the character said no and that’s how I step into the shoes of a baddie”
Popular band ‘Bombay Rockers’ makes a comeback with the film where the two singers are seen shaking legs with Bigg Boss fame Nora Fatehi. The song ‘Rehunuma’ is a soulful track with some heart-wrenching lines and is poised to become one of the most romantic song of this year.
Directed by Nishikant Kamat, Rocky Handsome is produced under the banner of John’s home production ‘John Abraham Entertainment’ with Azure Entertainment. Set in Goa, Mumbai and Pune, Rocky Handsome is an adrenaline pumping action film embellished with a strong emotional story of the relationship between a father who never had a daughter and a seven year old daughter who never had a father and is an adaptation of the 2010 Korean film ‘The Man from Nowhere’.
