Ajay Devgn is a superstar, the actor recently bagged best foreign actor award in China for his realistic role in super hit Raid, and now the actor starrer action drama “Singham” is going regional. The film will be made in Punjabi.
Superstar Ajay Devgn is producing the Punjabi remake of the film along with Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak.
The official handle of T-series confirmed the film on social media. They wrote, “#Singham goes Punjabi. @itsBhushanKumar, @ajaydevgn, @kumarmangat & @AbhishekPathakk to produce the Punjabi remake of the 2011 Bollywood hit, #Singham. Starring @ParmishVerma, @bajwasonam & #KartarCheema. Directed by Navaniat Singh. @ADFFilms @PanoramaMovies”
The film is helmed by Navaniat Singh and will stars Parmish Verma, Sonam Bajwa, Kartar Cheema.
Actor Ajay Devgn also took to his social media profile and shared the picture of Clapboard from the film and wished the team “Good Luck”.
He wrote, “Good luck! @navaniatsingh @parmishverma @tseries.official @panorama_studios @kumarmangatpathak @abhishekpathakk”
On the work front, Ajay Devgn has an interesting line of films slated for release, such as Total Dhamaal, De De Pyaar De, Turram Khan and Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior.
Taanaji is a period drama film directed by Om Raut. It is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, who was the Koli military leader in the Maratha Empire. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan as main protagonist.
